It’s insane how I try to make things better

Between us but the more I try the more we fall

Damn!! I hate you. Do you hate me? Yes?! Shit.

That seems to be the only thing we have

In common, well, I can manage, at least there’s

Something we share in and for that I’m grateful.

I just want us to have something together, you know?

Like it used to be before, just to know

We have something we could talk about, even if it’s

Talking about how much we hate each other,

Cursing and shouting won’t matter.

Just to hear your voice and know it’s me you are talking to

Is more than satisfying. I’m going crazy. What am I saying?

Look at my lines; I’m already crazy, crazy

About fixing things with us [heard that before?].

To hold you and know you are holding on too.

Maybe I can’t change what is;

But I’d keep pressing so when we are fixed you’d know I said;
