MAKING IT COUNT
Nothing last forever, even family one
day would grow apart or afar and other times new members come in and everyone
has a new family all over again. We fight for what we have and we give so much
for what would not be here for so long. Live and let’s live is the key,
everything is vanity in its own time.
This is a philosophy I have come to
know and experience, but because it is experienced does not make it valid or
true. Nothing last forever! And so what? Neither do we; so why worry about forever
instead of treasuring every moment we have because it will soon be gone and
would we also, we will not get that chance to fight again, to live again or to
love again in the life to come.
What matters is what we have and what
we have is now, this very moment before family finds its own family, this
moment when love hurt just because it want to live, this moment when nothing is
certain except what we have in the records of our minds that brought us
together. If we must put our past behind us only to learn from it, then we must
push our future away only to prepare for it, in the end, all we are left with
is the now.
Indeed, nothing last forever and with
that I agree, but why worry about a forever that we don’t live for. The
afterlife is a whole new life of its own, where nothing would matter,
philosophy, health, wealth, race, family, even love. These are gift only the
present can offer, the present is a present, embrace it, be grateful for it and
enjoy it.
You are afraid? Face your fears,
express yourself, be bold, be heard, be loud, make a statement, take a stand,
defend your side, and love with all you have and all you can, forgive like it
never happened, why hate an enemy that would soon be gone? Love them still,
their time will come. If you are in love, write a song, say a poem, dance and
shout, silly things like puppy love only last while you are a puppy and that
also would be gone soon so make the best of it.
Being callous has nothing to do with
being stupid; it’s basically not giving a damn to the calls of the lost. In
all, learn and learn well, gain wisdom and pride understanding, use them in
preparation for what is ahead, not worrying about them, but being certain that
in its own time, it will come to pass
So, to you I write, in this short
time known as the moment, as you reflect on that which you want, go for it,
opportunities always come around, but you can never get the opportunity to get
back the moment if you let it go away, you really love it, you’d give your all
for it, after-all, your all might not be there tomorrow, and even if it would
be, it won’t be all that is yours nor all that was yours.
You only live once, live, love,
laugh, and if your heart seems broken, try it all over again, no broken heart
where you’ll be going to after now, this is our one life here, make it count.
