New Again

I knew i wasn't far from this feeling again
Dead hearts always beat again to the sound of new sounds
But even the cold ones take their time to feel life flow through
Yet I'm in such haste feeling like I've been missing you all this time
Can't explain how you rose the dead and made me fall back flat
All i can see in my head are the flashes of your smile, your small nose and flushed lips
My door swung open and you broke it slam
All I know is you walked in and now everything feels right
I just want to know you more and more
This feeling i feel yet can't explain
I know what love is but never seen it look this safe
Can't stop thinking of that day i said hello
Started as a simple thing, now everything has changed
The rain feels good again and the sun doesn't burn like it use to
I may not know what to write or how to pull new words in
All i know is, this morning when i woke, i know something now i didn't before
I feel something i once felt but all like new
Cried my eyes out and you cried along with me
Can't believe how golden the blues would make me feel
Just be mine and i'd be yours
I know i still have up walls but I'd take it down and open up my doors for you
Stared deep in your eyes and it felt just like home
Those unsaid words that make everything feel right
May not be sure what this is but I know everything has changed

We fight, we push, we pursue and we run away. No one intends to stay and none of us want to leave. Yet we tell each other we are done with, no more cares, goodbye and good ridden but those are words we do not mean We can't wait to see the other person come back running. We await who would say I'm sorry first, we await who will say I miss you more and come back crying. The love we said was dead still speaks to us, the journey we said had ended just opened up a new door to us.
