We all pray to grow bright

We push ourselves to shine as pure light

But we know how drowned we are in this night

And we seem unredeemable even by the one brave knight

Redemption is the last thing on our mind

All we care about is saving the love that is still so hard to find

We have promised to put all our past behind

But we end up walking backwards in our bid to hide

They say we shine brightest in the dark

If only they know how much of the light we lack

Force to stay in darkness and be told to bring sparks

Is this our true purpose or have we been simply marked

As nothing in this empty world of pain and sadness

Even aeons away we are still filled with grieve and emptiness

Cursed and dethroned for our faithlessness

Accused of great crimes of pride and wickedness

We are nothing but the stars that have lost their place

We dare not gloat or show forth our face

All we can do is await the great judge to pull out our case

And be judged and sentence to an eternity in hells maze

If anything is certain in these lands of uncertainty; it’s our great lies

That there might be victory simply because we bare wings like flies

We may sparkle and shine like diamonds in the skies

But we are nothing but shameful and rejected fallen stars

We fight, we push, we pursue and we run away. No one intends to stay and none of us want to leave. Yet we tell each other we are done with, no more cares, goodbye and good ridden but those are words we do not mean We can't wait to see the other person come back running. We await who would say I'm sorry first, we await who will say I miss you more and come back crying. The love we said was dead still speaks to us, the journey we said had ended just opened up a new door to us.
